CORRIGENDA

Volume 279, September 2000 Volume 48, September 2000

Pages F426-F439: Hu E, Chen Z, Fredrickson T, Gellai M, Jugus M, Contino L, Spurr N, Sims M, Halsey W, Van Horn S, Mao J, Ganesh S, and Brooks D. "Identification of a novel kidney-specific gene downregulated in acute ischemic renal failure." The authors wish to make the following corrections pertaining to the distribution of KSP32 mRNA in the in situ analysis. KSP32 expression was found in the outer strip of the outer medulla. The expression abruptly decreases at the boundary of inner and outer stripes of the outer medulla, rather than the boundary of the inner medulla and outer medulla. Thus on p. F435, lines 25-29 in the left column should read "The signal was absent in the inner medulla and inner stripe of the outer medulla and was sporadic in the outer cortex region. Prominent expression was localized in the outer stripe of the outer medulla as well as medullary rays." On p. F435, lines 5-6 in the right column should read "Strong signals were observed in tubules in medullary rays and outer stripes of outer medulla." On p. F435, lines 12-14 should read "Presently it is not completely clear whether the proximal tubule or the medullary thick ascending limb was responsible for the signal." On p. F438, lines 22-24 should read "This formation bears a remarkable resemblance to the medullary rays that extend from the outer stripe of the outer medulla."
