Corrigenda

Volume 290, March 2006

Volume 59, March 2006

Pages F741–F751. Kim N-H, Rincon-Choles H, Bhandari B, Choudhury GH, Abboud HE, and Gorin Y. Redox dependence of glomerular epithelial cell hypertrophy in response to glucose. Am J Physiol Renal Physiol 290: F741–F751, 2006 (doi:10.1152/ajprenal.00313.2005).

On p. F749, the GRANTS section has been amended. The corrected GRANTS section should read as follows: Y. Gorin was supported through a regular Research Grant from the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, a Scientist Development Grant from the American Heart Association, and a National Kidney Foundation Young Investigator Grant. This work was supported by a Veterans Affairs Research Enhancement Award Program (G. G. Choudhury and H. E. Abboud), National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) Grants DK-43988 and DK-33665 (H. E. Abboud), the National Institutes of Health/NIDDK George M. O’Brien Kidney Center (H. E. Abboud), P50 DK-61597 (G. G. Choudhury and H. E. Volume 59, April 2006

Pages F838–F843. Weinman EJ, Mohanlal V, Stoycheff N, Wang F, Steplock D, Shenolikar S, and Cunningham R. Longitudinal study of urinary excretion of phosphate, calcium, and uric acid in mutant NHERF-1 null mice. Am J Physiol Renal Physiol 290: F838–F843, 2006 (doi:10.1152/ajprenal.00374.2005).

On p. 840, Fig. 1 was printed incorrectly. The two panels in C were duplicates of the graphs in A. The correct figure appears here with its original legend.

Fig. 1. Urine phosphate/creatinine (A), calcium/creatinine (B), uric acid/creatinine (C), and sodium/creatinine (D) ratio plotted as a function of age (in wk) in male and female wild-type ({circ}) and NHERF-1–/– (bullet) mice. The differences in urine phosphate/creatinine ratios between wild-type and NHERF-1–/– males and females were statistically significant (P < 0.05) until week 24. The differences in calcium/creatinine and uric acid/creatinine ratios between wild-type and NHERF-1–/– males and females were statistically significant throughout the study period. The differences in sodium/creatinine ratios were not statistically different.
