Pages F1195F1200. Sohara, E, Rai T, Miyazaki J-I, Verkman AS, Sasaki S, and Uchida S. Defective water and glycerol transport in the proximal tubules of AQP7 knockout mice. Am J Physiol Renal Physiol 289: F1195–F1200, 2006 (doi: 10.1152/ajprenal.00231.2006).

On p. F1199, in the second to last sentence in RESULTS, the values for urea accumulation in AQP7 and wild-type mice were stated incorrectly. The sentence should read as "The AQP7 knockout mice fed a low-protein diet for 20 days did not show an impairment in urea accumulation in the papilla under dehydration (AQP7, 24.7 ± 4.2 mg/g papilla wet wt vs. wild-type, 22.0 ± 4.3 mg/g papilla wet wt, n = 4)."
